Programme for Electronic Commerce in the Norwegian Public Sector 1999-2004
Programme description
This description of the “Programme for e-commerce in the Norwegian public sector” has been developed by The Government Administrative Service, Statskjøp (Government procurement) on behalf of The Ministry of Labour and Government Administration.
The basis for the document is “Innføring av elektronisk handel i offentlige innkjøp, DEL III: Forslag til program 1999-2003” (The introduction of E-commerce in public procurement, Part III:Programme proposal 1999-2003) submitted to The Ministry of Labour and Government
Administration by The Government Administrative Service in January 1999. The programme proposal has been updated on the basis of comments and suggestions received in connection with broad consultation that took place in the first quarter of 1999. The programme investment was agreed by the government on 24 June 1999. Since then the document has been discussed and approved by the Steering group for the programme. The description of the programme is directed at decision makers and professionals who are interested in implementing or who have already implemented e-commerce in connection with tasks related to procurement.
